Redressing the Room
First on the list is the room itself; ten years of scuffs, dents, scrapes, and settling had left their bitter trail of tears upon the walls. A long-overdue appointment with Dr. Bukkit O'Mudd and his handy taping blade was the just the ticket to Structural Healin' (c'mon c'mon c'mon - let's blade mud tonite). Sing along - y'all know the words.
It was also time to update the timbre of the room. Whilst the new color scheme is very similar to the previous coolish-yet-strangely-warmish-gray ensemble, we've now incorporated just a splash more lilac into the landscape - a little more soothing and inviting, yet still subtly complimentary to the lovelerly montage of industrial grays and blacks of the myriad workstations and equipment.

Everything had to be moved and covered for the spackling and painting.
The corners got some serious mud work.

Walls are painted here - trim work still needs to be finished. Note the hint of lilac - ooohhhh...ahhhhh
Now where's my herbal tea? Somewhere under that freaking pile of $%&*@# I'll bet.

The Iso booth had serious crackage in the corners. Self-adhesive joint tape is the bomb!

Three coats of joint compound later - and ready to paint. The wall anchors are for the acoustic tiles.
